Until about the age of thirty, I lived a full life. Then anxiety arrived, and slowly,
through avoidance, it shrank my world: I quit my job, stopped leaving home,
traveling, and meeting people. After my first birth, I was even afraid to have more children.
The turning point came when I changed the question. Instead of asking
“How do I make this go away?”, I started asking: “What is happening here?”
I sat down, stopped fighting, and said to the anxiety: come, show me what you want from me.
I discovered that it shines a light on exactly the places we sweep under the rug,
look away from, and push aside.
I learned NLP first of all for myself. That personal research, together with work on the body,
breath, and consciousness, led me to light the way for others too, and that is where PractiCalm was born.
Today I am a mother of three, and I help others live a full life even while anxiety is here.
